the constant beat driving me to insanity

doing things i never dare

pounding... whispering...

sensations to do, to be, my mind is no haven of clarity

i feel it constantly

pounding... whispering... shining...

i can feel myself dying inside

if i only gave in all would be well my instincts say

pounding... pounding... pounding...

the beat of my heart

the pulse of the ring
