It would have never happened. If it wasn't for him. It was his fault he knew it. Now it was too late to turn back and much too late to stop it.

"No! Sasuke! Sasuke, please! Don't do this! Sasuke! Don't leave me! You can't!" But there he lay cradling the love of his life. "Hang on! Hang on for just a little bit more!" He begged as the rain continued to fall on them with no mercy. It seems like, even the gods were laughing at them.

"Na...ruto..." Sasuke said as the pouring rain washed away the continuous stream of blood flowing from his lips. "Don't be...like this...please...you're depressing me..." He smiled tried to laughed but the blood caused him to cough instead.

"Sasuke...Save your breath!" Naruto looked around frantically for help. But there was no one alive for miles. "Agh,Sasuke...I'm so sorry...How could this happen...I didn't mean to-" Sasuke stopped him with a easy, slow tender kiss. Naruto could taste Sasuke's blood on his lips.

"It's okay, I'll be here forever still...Always by your side...I love you...Naruto... For..ever...and al...ways.." He smiled one last time and his head fell slowly to the side and like a movie, his hand slipped out of Naruto's.

"Sasuke! Sasuke! No! Why?" Naruto buried his head into Sasuke's neck and cried. "Sasuke... You shouldn't have...Sasuke...Why? I love you too...so why are you leaving? Why are you leaving me?! Ahh! Sasuke!" Naruto screamed toward the sky and a flash of lighting could be seen as it went right through Naruto. Naruto cried out one more time before whispering his loves name and falling down next to said love.

And so there they lay. The rain, mixing with the blood, and mixing with the tears that continued to fall down both faces. There they lay...with their fingers barely touching as if trying so desperately to hold on to something that could never be there's...No matter how hard they tried...
