It was midnight, the moon full and high in the sky. A young shinobi fled through the forest with breathtaking speed and agility, fledging from a few members of the Akatsuki. Her long, ebony black hair shown through the moonlight as it flowed behind her perfectly curved figure. Emerald green eyes looked ahead for the entrance to Konoha.
"Tenma, stop!" Her chasers cried, far behind her. This shinobi's speed was far beyond genin level, quite possibly sannin levil.
As she neared the gates of Konoha, she gathered a huge amount of chakra into her feet and sprung over the entrance. She looked back and felt the Akatsuki member's chakra fade away. She was safe, for now. Everything went black.
THE NEXT MORNING
The next morning, Tenma found herself in a small but comfortable bed, wrapped in bandages and in fresh clothes. She sat up and winced in pain and clutched her stomach.
"Lay back down, you're still hurt."
She looked toward the voice and studied the person carefully. He was a Uchiha no doubt, and had raven black hair shaped oddly at the back. He looked familiar…
"What's your name?" The boy asked, a caring look in his eyes.
"M-my name is Tenma. Tenma Ketsueki."
The boy grinned and unwrapped her arms, "My name's Sasuke Uchiha. It's a pleasure to meet you, beautfil Tenma."
Tenma blushed, "Thank you."
It was quiet for a moment until an obnoxious blonde followed by a pink haired girl burst threw the door.
"Sasuke!" They both yelled in unison. Tenma looked at the two oddly.
"Sasuke!—Who's this?" The blonde boy asked.
"This is Tenma Ketsueki. I found her by the Konoha gates this morning."
The blonde inspected Tenma closely, and then blushed, "She's cute." he whispered to Sasuke. Sasuke nodded and smiled. The pink haired girl got angry.
"Naruto, she's half- Oh my! How did you get those red and white highlights in your hair? They're gorgeous!"
Tenma smiled faintly, "They're natural."
The girl suddenly went from angry to happy, "You have to teach me how to get my hair like that!"
And so, this starts the story of Tenma Ketsueki.
