Robin was very upset. Alfred had just passed, yes, but that doesn't mean i need to be with someone all day! Yes, of coarse he was upset he was gone. He was basically his grandfather. Not to mention did a million other things others could neve do. But all he wanted right now was to be alone. So, to get away from Bruce he headed to the mountain thinking people are here so we wouldn't follow.
Nope. He followed. He was just gonna head to his room sayin he was tired. He couldn't do that with Bruce now Batman following him. So, he ran past the team with Batman in tow.
The team for a minute thought Batman or Robin had gone hostle. Then, they heard a shout from Robin saying "Just leave me ALONE!"
Then they were worried. Be had slight autophobia didn't he? They ran to his room where Batman was outside. "What happened?"
"Nothing. Faimly buisness" Batman turned to Robin's door " Robin, I didn't follow you for you. I know that sounds selfish, but i came for me. I need you right now."
At that Robin opened his door and let Batman in. He looked at us then Batman. "Can i at least tell Wally?"
Batman nodded. Robin motioned for Wally to come in.
It was a while before anyone came out. We all headed back to the Liveing room.
When Wally came out, we could see tear stains. He was looking down but held iut his arms requesti g a hug. We all complied. Even superboy and Artemis.
"What happened?"
"You didn't really know him." Wally looked sad so, " Do you want cookies?"
Wally gave a hollow laugh. He began to sing " If only, if only the woodpecker sighs..." it got softer after that. He sat on the kitchen floor singing and crying a bit too.
We decided to asm if he wanted us to stay. He said yes. So we all sad around him comforting him. And soon even Batman and Robin joined. Singing too. Well, not Batman but Robin.
An they sat like that for hours. Soon, everyone fell asleep. Even Batman.
