Hi Guys! So this is my new Rydellington story! I got like 10 votes for this one and 5 votes for the other one but don't worry because I will be doing both! And this one is only like 3 or 4 chapters long! Sooo Enjoy!
Rydel's POV
"Okay guys, this week Rydel and Ratliff are captains! So hurry and pick the teams so we can start!" My mom, Stormie Lynch, gushed. She loved 'Football Sundays' more than anyone and her tweets keep the #R5Family posted on what we are doing when we're not playing shows. Let's see who I want on my team.
Ryland for sure. Probably Riker too, and if Ellington is being nice I'll get Curt too! We are sooo going to win!
"Ladies first, take your pick Delly," Ratliff said. I rolled my eyes and tried to hide my slight blush by smudging my black line thingys that I don't know what they are called. Soo, I may have a slight crush on Ratliff but is totally NOT going to stop me from crushing his butt today! Girl POWER!
"Okay, Ryland." I said as Ry got up and walked over to me, he gave me a high-five and stood next to me.
"Rocky." Ratliff said.
"Riker." I challenged, eyeing Ellington.
"Mark," he challenged back, grinning me down.
"Curt," I said with a smirk, wiping that cute grin off his adorable face. I'm on a competitive streak. Not just because of the game but because of what happened between me and Ratliff earlier.
Flashbackkk
We were trying to practice for our concert on Monday but we couldn't get our set up right. Ratliff was too close to my keyboard and he wouldn't move, just to make me mad. Riker tried to tell me just to forget about it but being my OCD(I'm almost 100% sure Rydel doesn't have OCD lol) self, I couldn't help but get distracted and Ratliff found it hilarious.
"Ratliff you are too close!" I kept telling him, but he wouldn't listen finally after me telling him like twenty times, no joke, he moved. Grrrr…
End of Flashbackkk
"Ross." He ended our little 'feud' and I grinned triumphantly, walking away.
"Okay, now pick out your team names captains," Mom said.
We gathered in a group huddle.
"Okay guys, on the count of three were gonna say, 'Ready, Set, DELLYWHOPPERS!' okay?" They all agreed and we put our hands in.
"One, Two, Three!"
"READY, SET, DELLYWHOPPERS!" We screamed.
I grinned over at Ratliff's team that was still in their huddle.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRATS!" They all yelled after a few seconds.
Oh it is so on Ratliff.
