A/N: Hi y'all. I know it's been a while since I've written anything. I've been having problems at home, including my mother being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in the liver. This is just a random songfic I wrote. The song is Let The Monster Rise, from Repo! The Genetic Opera. I thought it fit one of the stories I'm writing.
Nathan Wallace: Krystal- a half vampire 17 year old girl, with long brown hair, and reddish brown eyes. When she's vamped out, her eyes are blood red, and she has the typical vampire fangs. She does not sparkle, unless she wants to, just like normal humans.
Shilo Wallace: Chel- Krystal's mom. a 50some year old woman with blond, shoulder length hair. She is afraid of vampires, and didn't realize that her daughter was one.
Rotti: Shawni- a random person I came up with that sounded similar enough to Rotti to work for the song.
As always, friends and readers, please read and review.
"Didn't I tell you not to go out, didn't I?" I growled at Mom. She'd just seen me draining someone who tried to attack and kill her. I was still vamped out.
"You did, you did." She whimpered.
"Didn't I say the world was cruel? Didn't I?" I snarled.
"You did, you did."
"Then tell me how this happened, what I did wrong, tell me why. Can't we just go home Ma, and forget this dreadful night?" I begged, retracting my fangs and and making my eyes go back to their normal reddish brown.
"Didn't you say that you were different, didn't you?" She lost her fear and turned on me.
"I am, I am."
"Say you aren't that person, say it." She pointed at the person I'd drained.
"I am, I am." I wished she could understand.
"Then tell me how to act Krys, what to say Krys, tell me why. All you've ever told me, every word is a lie." I winced, but didn't let her see how much that hurt me, even if it was true. "Didn't you say that you'd protect me, didn't you."
"I tried, I tried." I wanted to cry, but couldn't.
"Is that how you'd help me, is it?" She again pointed at the man at my feet.
"I tried, I tried" I knew something bad was coming next.
"Don't help me any more Krys, you are dead Krys, in my eyes. Someone has replaced you, Krys I hate you. go and die!" She walked away angrily. I didn't think it was going to be that bad.
"Didn't I save a house, a home, didn't I?" I asked no one in particular.
"You did, you did." The man on the floor wheezed.
"Didn't I protect her all alone, didn't I?" I asked again as I knelt to stop the bloodflow from his neck, not wanting him to die. Despite being half vamp, I wasn't a murderer.
"You did, you did" He was losing consciousness. I finished bandaging his neck, and secured the bandage.
"Then Shawni took her from me, stole my mommy, she's to blame. Have I failed my mother? Then let the daughter die, and let the monster rise!" I stood as I growled the last sentence, and vamped out again, and followed Mom.
