Note. I have been watching series three, does anyone else see how desperate Kai seems to be. This is an attempt at a Kai character study.

A child taught not to cry

Learns not to look weak,

And turns into an adult who

Does not know how to feel.

A dishonest person

Who makes up emotion

And wraps themselves

In a gulf of commonsense,

Or lives by a code

To fill the gap.

An aversion to morals,

Not to be a rebel,

But because honestly

It doesn't understand

Why it hurts people

Or how to relate.

It, and It is an It,

Is empty.

It pretends to be

Full of life. When really

It is dead.

It sabotages itself

And makes subtle

Cries for help,

But surrounds itself

With the self-centred

So that no one can see

Through it's mask.

It wants to cry

But it no longer know how.
