Aelita stared out a blank window into the blank streets of warm but cloudy France. These were the days when the tree-tops wouldn't sway and the world was almost still. It was days like this when Aelita's head was more in the clouds, granted there were many of them this morning.
The science lesson didn't really concern her, it wasn't stuff she didn't already know, so she thought about other things. Like if XANA would attack today, or would she actually have an afternoon to spend with her friends. She doubted it. There was always a XANA attack.
The bell rung and class was dismissed so Aelita figured she may as well follow the crowd out the door. As she stepped out she heard someone making a commotion in the hall.
"Look! Look what I found!" Aelita peered around through the crowd trying to get a peek at whatever it was, but being unsuccessful.
"Oh wow," Aelita heard people comment.
"I've heard of littering but that's a little over the top isn't it?" She haerd someone mumble. Now Aelita REALLY wanted to see. She jumped up on her tippy-toes, then came back down onto her feet and made her way through the crowd. "Excuse me, sorry, could you move over?"
Finally she came close enough to the kid to see what he was holding. "A pair of handcuffs?" She asked quizzically.
"Isn't that weird to find them on the school ground?" Turns out the kid was good old Theo Gauthier from her class. He was holding what looked like an old rusted pair of cuffs that still had a few weeds growing on it.
"Do they work?" Aelita asked him.
An evil grin spread on his face and he replied, "Let's find out." Before Aelita knew what was happeninng, Theo grabbed her wrist, and someone else's wrist from the crowd and Clang! Clang! The next thing Aelita knew she was cuffed. And on the other end was, Sissi?
She turned back to Theo. "Haha, very funny. Now undo them."
"I'm gonna tell my dad and you're gonna get detention for a month if you don't get these off of me!" Sissi stared him down angrily.
"Okay, okay, I'm doing it, don't get your cuffs in a twist," He chuckled, reaching for the cuffs and getting busy.
"Shut it." Sissi told him, doing her signature pout.
After a few minutes of Theo pulling and pushing and fumblingwith the cuffs his face turned a little pale.
"What's taking you so long?" Sissi demanded.
"Um," He gulped. "Their stronger than I thought."
"What?!" The girls exclaimed together.
"But hey, no hard feelings right?" Theo laughed nervously.
"No hard feeling? Why I oughta—" Sissi was cut off.
"Wait, what about the key?" Aelita asked, not loosing her cool, just pretty annoyed.
"Key?"
"To the cuffs."
"I didn't see a key, there were just those, lying on the ground," Theo admitted.
Aelita face-palmed, and groaned.
Sissi exploded. "Are you kidding me!? You cuffed us together and you didn't even have the key?! What kind of an idiot are you?"
"Heh, hehe, sorry," Theo made his speedy escape.
Knowing Sissi, she wouldn't have let him off that easily, and she didn't. So naturally she came bounding down the hall ready to give him a piece of her mind. And of course, Aelita was being dragged along the whole way.

As you can see Im not much for French but I'd like to be some day! Hope you like this so far and don't worry, I intend to put Sissi and Aelita in some very comedic situations.
