Edge had just finished his match against Kurt Angle for the Undisputed championship when all the lights when out. The arena filled with excited chatter as Edge lay there on the mat.
" If it wasn't enough for me to loose, somebody's gotta come out and make my life hell." He muttered as he rolled over and slowly stood up.
Heavy guitar cords filled the arena and a single white light back-lit the stage as Edge saw three figures standing at the top of the ramp.
" Oh Edge" a sing songy voice called. Edge looked up at the ramp as more lights came up.
" Oh god." Edge said, under his breath, shocked at who stood before him.
" It's us Edge, you're old friends." Another one of the figures said. The lights came up to see Rhyno, Christian and Gangrel standing at the top of the ramp, smiling down at Edge. Edge walked over and grabbed a microphone from Lillian.
" What are you doing here?" he asked, voice shaking.
" We've come back for you Edge." Christian said.
" Why?" he asked.
" Oh, I think you know why Edge. You just don't want to realize it. You belong with us. We're all you have." Gangrel said.
" But....Rhyno, you weren't around when.."
" Oh, it doesn't matter when I was around Edge, all that matters is that I'm here now. I'm here to help bring you back." Rhyno said. Edge looked at the three of them. They looked different in some way. Rhyno was standing up straight instead of all hunched over like he normally did, Christian seemed to be taller and skinnier than he used to be, and so did Gangrel. They all looked so pale too.
" What if I don't want to come with you?" Edge asked, trying to sound strong enough to take on all three.
" We've prepared for that dear Edge." Gangrel said smiling as Edge felt hands grab him from behind. He struggled and fought with his captors, but to no avail as he was drug from the ring to the back and thrown into the trunk of a waiting car.
