Hey, guys! Nikki's here! This is my very first fanfiction and usually, I'm not really into writing XD, so I'm sorry if there are a lot of grammatical errors. Anyway, enjoy :)
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail. I'm just a silly teenager who wants to put her random imagination to words xD
'I-I have to do something. Quick. I have to take action before it's too late. I can't waste my time crying now. I gotta do something.'
"Hey, let's go," I yelled out as I walked out of the small restaurant. It was late afternoon and the sun was setting, which created a beautiful shade of red and orange.
"Yo, Lucy," I heard a voice calling me. "Ahh... I'm so full. A nice, hot dinner with fire is the best kind of dinner to eat after a long day. Isn't it, Happy?" I turned around and saw Natsu walking towards me with Happy tagging along behind him.
"Aye,"
"Okay, okay," I said carelessly. "Now, we need to find an inn because it's getting dark. We'll go back to the guild tomorrow. I'm not walking in the forest at night, and the last train departed 2 hours ago."
"Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Natsu yelled as he ran towards the closest inn. Happy also ran, erm, I mean fly toward the inn.
"Hey Natsu, wait!" I yelled at the hyperactive Dragon Slayer.
I checked in at the front desk of the inn. I rented one room because I didn't want to spend all of the money that we just got from our job. We went into our room and laid out the futons. I looked over at Natsu and Happy who almost fell asleep on the couch.
"Natsu, Happy, aren't you guys going to shower before sleeping?" I asked as I gently shook them.
"Uhh Lucy, I want to sleep," Happy mumbled unconsciously.
"Yosh, I guess I'll just leave them here. They did a good job on completing the mission today, so it's no wonder that they're tired." I muttered to myself. I took a blanket and put it on top of Natsu and Happy. I stared at them for a few moments. "They look so cute and vulnerable when they're asleep, don't they? Ah, I should shower now."
I had a nice, quick shower and slept in the futon. That night was pretty cold, so I curled myself up to keep my body heat. Suddenly, I felt something moving near my legs. "Kyaa," I screamed. I saw Natsu crawling into my futon. I was going to kick him when I realised that he was not conscious.
Natsu hugged me as he slept. It was very comfortable. I liked sleeping with Natsu. He's always warm and he smells nice, too. "You smell nice," Natsu mumbled in his sleep. I smiled before drifted into a deep sleep. Little did I know that someone was spying on us through the window.
