A normal high schooler who gain paranormal ability after meeting with her new family in SPR, she was unsure of her skill at first but later became more confident with it, especially during the time where everyone get into danger. She still hold feeling for Naru and think of Gene as best friend and family like Yasuhara. She had learn to effectively deal with Naru from Madoka during the woman stay which both irritating and amused Naru. Her latent ESP ability had grows overtime but she still had trouble controlling them and with her empathy toward the others, she got herself in more trouble than before but every time there was always someone (Usually Naru) coming to her rescue.

A young paranormal researcher and investigator who was the boss of SPR, he was still as narcissistic and bossy as ever even after his return from England and dislike the noise the other had caused in the office, although he done nothing more than just glared them to shut up. He had a rather close relationship with Mai, being a bit more patient with her even when she criticizes him and show some but small caring side to her, although it was unsure if it had any romantic interest in it. He seem bothered by detective Kiryu because of how Gene was found and was secretly doing research about him.

After his return from England, he had transfer to Todai to continued his study and at the same time work in SPR. He got along with everyone in the SPR especially Mai and Yasuhara as they had something in common and their playful side just annoyed his twin to no end. He seem to had noticed something strange about Mai abnormal increase rate in ability from their still on going spiritual connection that enable them to see similar vision and even lets him show vision between Naru and her.
Lin Koujo

Profile
Originally from Hong Kong, he is Naru's assistant but also guardian and mentor who rarely speaks more than he needs to. He seems to get most of the unpleasant jobs and work through the night watching monitor, and he only seen using his paranormal skills when he was really need in case. He had recently noticed Mai ability to see his Shiki sometime and started making him wonder of the girl ability.
Osamu Yasuhara (Yasu, Shounen)

Profile
He is the joker of the team who cheer everyone up with his mischievous teasing and joke. Although he is not a psychic or a spiritualist, he is good at gathering information and handling peoples so he was usually the one ordered by Naru to asked around gathering information. He knows Mai feeling for their boss and usually the one to tease her about it, although he also lend a hand out to help the girl in her love life.

A hakkaisou (Buddhist monk who has left his position) who studied in Mt. Koya, he claims that he left temple because they did not allow music CDs. He usually acts as a brotherly figure to Mai and sometime even lecturing her like a father when she act reckless. He is one of the more powerful members of the group, and acts as leader in Naru's absence. He later took aware that the rate Mai's ability grow in just a year was abnormal, making him wonder if she was a born spiritualist.
Matsuzaki Ayako

Personality: Short-tempered, Outspoken
Ability: Shinto Ritual (Exorcism, Cleansing using tree spirits)
Profile
Aself-styled Shinto miko because she was not raised in a shrine and is actually the daughter of a wealthy doctor who owns a community hospital, she was a motherly or sisterly figure to Mai and usually was seen bickering with Bou-san like an old marriage couple. Although she was not strong in exorcism, she could communicate with tree spirits and used them to perform large area purification but it had quite a few condition to used it.

A Caucasian Catholic priest from Australia who learned to speak Japanese with a Kansai accent, thus giving his sentences a rather odd, humorous structure. He was one of effective member of the team, his exorcisms, unlike Houshou's Buddhist Mantras or Ayako's Shinto Kuji, do not cause physical harm to living creature, making him very useful in case with possession.

A spirit medium with a popular television show and the ability to speak to the dead, it was found out that she was a ESP medium instead of a true medium like Gene and her ability had limit to those spirit who had strong attachment to the place. She still had romantic feelings toward Naru and dislike losing both Naru attention and her helpfulness to Mai even though they had became friend.

She had became temporary manager of SPR during the time Naru return to England with Gene and Lin. She got along really well with Mai, Yasuhara and Ayako, usually dragging the girls to shop and sight seeing while leaving Yasuhara to look after the office but she could be serious during case. She was aware of the unusual close relationship Mai and Naru had, even though she didn't question about it but she like to tease the younger girl about it.
