Prologue
Aki raced home after a day of playing ninja with her friends. She looked up at her house and saw that it was very dark. Quietly Aki walked into her house and entered the living room. "Mommy? Daddy? Leo?" Aki looked around the room when she saw two shadows. One of the shadows was slumped over and the other held the person in their arms and was bending down towards their neck. Lightening flashed and Aki saw her mom being held by a man with blood red hair.
Her mothers eyes were blank. Aki's eyes widened when she saw what the man was doing to her mother. He was biting her neck and sucking the blood. Aki looked in the corner and saw her father and her brother in a clump. Her mother fell to the floor and lied there unmoving. The man then turned to look at her and his hazel eyes shone like a cats.
Aki trembled and a scream came out of her mouth. "What did you do to my mommy!" The man walked over to her with grace. He knelt down in front of her as she trembled. "Don't hurt me." The man gave her a smile that sent chills down her spine. She would remember that smile for the rest of her life. The man brought his hand up and placed it on her cheek. He looked into her eyes and Aki stopped trembling.
Something about the man calmed her. She blinked her eyes and got a hold of reality. She turned her head away and let a cry out. The man took her wrist and brought his mouth to it. Aki screamed in pain as she felt fangs bear into her wrist. The room started to spin and she collapsed.
The last thing she remembered was the man catching her and placing her down on her couch.
Orochimaru stood outside in the forest, rain falling and soaking his hair and cloak. His red haired partner emerged from the brush. "Are they dead?" The man nodded. "Of coarse they are. It was too easy." Orochimaru smiled his snake like smile. "And the eight year old girl?" The man looked away. "She's dead too." Orchimaru nodded and headed back for the base. "Very good Sasori."
Aki gripped onto the 3rd Hokage's hand. She was trembling. The 3rd looked down at her and gave her a smile. Kakashi had found the young girl alone in the forest crying. Kakashi then appeared in a puff of smoke. The young girl looked at the white haired man. Kakashi smiled at her beneath his mask. "What's your name? Aki. Why were you in the forest alone?" At those words the girl burst into tears. The 3rd and Kakashi tried to calm her down. After a while she finally answered. "A- a man killed my mommy and my daddy and my brother. He- he bit my mommies neck and sucked up all of her blood. "
Kakashi looked at the girl in shock. "Are you sure he bit her neck?" Aki nodded and wiped a tear away. "He's a monster."
Aki told her story from the beginning to the end numerous times to he elders of Konaha. No one believed that the red headed man had bit her mom, her father, and her brother and sucked their blood. But she knew the truth and she knew that he would come back and finish the job one day. Aki looked down at her wrist and saw the two bite marks on her wrist. She hadn't shown anyone those marks. She fell to her knees and pounded the floor in a fury.
She was only eight and she had lost her whole family. She then looked up and blinked back the tears. No she would be strong and avenge her family. She would become stronger and learn everything about vampires. One day she would kill the red headed man that had sucked the life out of her family.
