Chapter 1
One summer after camp Mitchie and Shane are making sure that everything is up and put away and locked up and are closing down camp for the fall/winter.
''so we ready?'' he asks her
''yep I think everything is taken down and put away and locked up.'' she tells him
''okay good.'' he says
''lets go and get the kids.'' she tells him
''okay.'' he says and takes her hand and walks towards thier cabin to go and get thier kids and all thier stuff that they brought to camp to get in the car
Mitchie and Shane walk into the cabin.
''hey guys ready to go?'' Mitchie asks her kids
''weady momma!'' Anthony says
Shayla just turns around in her play bouncer and gives her a big gummy smile.
''okay lets go.'' Mitchie says and picks the baby up and takes the dvd out of the player and puts it in the case and sticks it in the diaper bag
Shane grabs the play bouncer and takes it out to the car.
Mitchie brings the kids out and gets them buckled in thier car seats and gets in the passenger seat and Shane closes the trunk and gets in the drivers seat.
Mitchie wipes a tear from her eye.
''hey you okay sweetie?'' he asks her
''yea just really going to miss this place.'' she tells him
''I know but we'll be back next year.'' he tells her
''oh...maybe.'' she tells him
''what do you mean maybe?'' he questions her
''well hunnie I don't know what the year ahead of us is going to bring.'' she tells him
Mitchie just turns around.
''hey buddy are you excited go to home and play with your toys and sleep in your own bed tonight?'' Mitchie asks him
''ya!'' Anthony says
''okay good.'' she says and turns back around and rests her head against her hand and elbow against the door
Shane just focuses on the road.
