Hola! Hope your all well! idk what the hades I've actually done, my English teacher told everyone to write a poem under 30 lines after the evil and cruel 100word story (which I must smuggle into my bag to type up and post on wattpad) and I almost killed him on the spot because:
A)I hate poetry (writing it)
B)I can't write poems
C) He gave no type, e.g acrostic
D) He gave no genre, e.g happy or horror etc
E)I HADNT FINISHED THE FLIPPPING STORY.
and finally, F) I can't rhyme, I find poetry (writing it) torture.
then someone suggested I write a shudder haiku. me and my friend both shook our heads madly. I will not show the world that Apollo isn't the worst poet ever to unfortunately exist and like hiakus.
Anywho, since there was absolutely basically zero rules, I based it on Solangelo (yes, I think I am extremely overly obsessed with Solangelo, I mean its not like its the only thing ive been reading, no (sarcasm)) soooooooooooooo, I decided to see if it was any good and post it here...? sorta headcannonyish...? (I apologise to anyone who needs to gauge out their eyes with a blunt and rusty piece of metal after reading it. I also will mention it was written at 3am!) Anywho, enjoy!

The Ghost King meets the Sun

Which into the shadows fade?

Death and depression,

Loss and rejection,

The King of Ghosts trapped in a cage.

Happy gone sad,

Calm gone mad,

The ray of Sunshine is afraid.

Olive to white,

Forever in night,

The Ghost King tries to see day.

Hard to hurt,

Such a flirt,

The Sun keeps the dark at bay.

Reaching out,

Hands don't count,

Sunshine tugs the shadows away.

Out of the prison,

The Death Boy has risen,

The Ghost King is alone no more.

Though dreams reopen that door,

His Sunshine always with him crying on the floor.

He smiled at the thought,

Which his Sunshine caught.

Neither into the darkness will fade,

Because for each other were they made.

End

Yep, short and terrible, I hope you found some enjoyment from it though and have a good day! :) cya later all!
