Trunks' First Love

A/N: Well, I have redone this chapter! I have made it a little better and less cheesy, I figured I could at least do some touching up to some of my old work and make it a lot better. Hope you enjoy it!


Chapter 1: The meeting

It was a hot sunny summer day when Trunks stopped to get some ice cream, after a day out on the town. After buying and receiving his ice cream he turned to walk away, when he ran into a young woman.

"Gomen!" Trunks said as he helped up the young woman. He paused for a brief moment as he looked her over.

She was 5'7" with long dark brown hair that had purple streaks and bright blue eyes. She wore a navy blue shirt with Capsule Corp in yellow print across the front, along with black sneakers and tattered baggy blue jeans.

"It's okay." Replied the young woman as she dusted off her jeans.

When she looked up at the man she realized who it was, and almost didn't believe it.

'Hmmm...He's much more handsome in person...' she thought as a slight smile spread across her face.

"I'm Trunks!" he spoke up, making the woman snap out of her trance.

"Oh, I'm Lin..." she replied with a bright smile.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Lin."

"As it is a pleasure to meet you, Trunks." She says in return, as she stares into his eyes for a brief moment before looking away.

'What pretty eyes...' thought Trunks as he noticed her staring into his eyes.

"Well I have to get going." said Lin as she began to walk away.

Trunks looked at her strangely for she was wearing a shirt with him in Super Saiyan slicing through Frieza on the back.

"What the hell?" Trunks said to himself.

"Hey, Lin wait up!" shouted Trunks running after her.

"Huh? What?" She said as she stopped in her tracks and turned to face him.

"Where did you get that shirt?" he asked her, with curiosity in his voice.

'Damn I shouldn't have worn this shirt.' Lin thought as she cringed a bit.

"Oh...ummmm...I..."

"Come on tell me!" said Trunks eagerly wanting to know.

"Well...I... Didn't get it from this time." replied Lin turning around with her back towards him.

"Huh! What do you mean?" asked Trunks

"I mean i am not from this time." She stated in reply.

"That's why I was kind of staring at you."

"Tell me exactly what you mean." replied Trunks.

"How about you come back to Capsule Corp. with me and you can tell me there." He offered for she still hadn't given him a direct answer.

"Ummmm...Okay sure." She replies as she turns around with a smile on her face.

'Wow, I never thought this would ever happen!' she thought as she followed him.
