Summary: Another from my tumblr one shots. Loki tries to make a woman a Captain America fan...

God Bless Ameri-hrmph!

"I brought you something."

I looked away from the computer screen just in time for a comic book to be dropped in my lap. Loki sat himself on my bed and I looked down at the cover.

"Captain America?" I asked.

"You told me the other day you felt you needed to read more comics," he said with a smile. "Thought I'd do something nice."

"Nice?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. "You?"

"What?" he asked, seeming irritated.

"If this is to butter me up to tell you how 'Phantasm' ends, forget it. You'll have to read it as I write it, just like everyone else."

"That's a truth I've come to accept," he grumbled, rolling his eyes. "But I swear there are no ulterior motives. A simple gesture of kindness from me to you."

"Uh-huh…" I said, my tone making it more than clear that I didn't believe him. I still smiled at the comic all the same and nodded. "Thanks though. I'll have to read this later." I set it down on my desk, and returned to the open document on the screen.

"Don't you like it?" he asked, and I shrugged.

"I do," I answered. "I'm just trying to get this next chapter done. Besides, I'm not a huge fan of Captain America."

"I see," he said with a sigh. I frowned, feeling guilty now that it seemed he really had been trying to do something nice… for once… and I turned to apologize when my eyes caught a glimpse of the clock.

"Crap!" I cried, rushing to save the file. "I've gotta leave for work in 40 minutes and I still need to shower! Damn it!" I jumped up from the computer and hurried out of the room, grabbing my towel from the hook on my door on my way out.

While I wasn't there to see it, I'm almost certain a devilish look entered Loki's eyes as an idea came to him.

I stripped down as fast as I could, cranking on the water and waiting for it to reach the right temperature, when the door behind me cracked open. Figuring I forgot to lock it, I quickly threw my towel around me and turned around, expecting it to be my roommate. "Can't you knock?!" I cried, then stopped, my jaw nearly hitting the floor.

Standing there, clad in red, white, and blue spandex from the neck down, was Loki, a mischievous grin on his face as he held the familiar shield in front of him. "Oh my god," I chuckled, looking him over. "Are you kidding me?"

"I bet I can make you a fan," he said in a seductive tone, stepping up to me slowly. I hadn't seen him wear something so… form fitting… before, and while I preferred him in leather, I couldn't stop gawking at how well it hugged his body. "What do you think?" he asked, turning around to let me see him from every angle, my eyes of course immediately going to his perfect ass.

"God bless America," I whispered, and as he turned to face me again, before he could say a word, my hands were on his shoulders, tugging him forward into a ferocious kiss. The shield clattered to the ground and he picked me up, my legs straddling his waist as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Are you okay in there?" my roommate called from across the hall. "What was that?"

"Nothing! I'm fine!" I shouted. "Don't come in!"

Loki reached behind him, locking the door to ensure our privacy, and his hand returned, cradling the back of my head as he forced my lips apart, his tongue plunging into my mouth. I began to frantically feel around behind him for a zipper, and I felt his lips twist upwards into a smile against mine.

"So the soldier really does it for you?" he asked, with a grin.

"It's not a bad look," I whispered, kissing his neck. "Now take it off!"

He grinned, setting me down to remove my towel, and with a wave of his hand, the uniform was gone, and he lifted me up, once more, carrying me into the shower.

(I'm sorry guys… I really couldn't resist with this one.)
