Alrighty, this is a "spur of the moment" type thing for me. I grew up
with The Cure, I just recently developed a tasted for them though. *Ahem*
anywho.
~*~ thoughts are in this funky thing. Ok?
Harry sat in a corner of the common room. Another fight with Ginny. This time, she had said she never wanted to see him again. He felt awful, Quidditch practice and schoolwork, along with detentions and seeing the headmaster so much hadn't left him much time to be with friends or (and most importantly) his girlfriend. They hadn't spoken for four weeks. He rubbed his knuckles with his other hand. What could he do to apologize? He had a sneaky suspicion Ginny wouldn't listen to just words.
A frown creased his smooth brow. Suddenly it disappeared, and his trademark grin sauntered into its place. He knew how he would do it. He jumped up and made a mad dash for the boy's dormitory.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ginny sat staring into the fire, mentally kicking herself for dumping Harry like that. She probably would never find another guy like him. She kicked herself again; of COURSE she would never find a guy like Harry. The only duplicate of Harry was his father, or so she imagined.
She wiped away a tear, and sniffled. Ron and Hermione were nowhere in sight. ~*~Probably in the library, doing who-knows-what.~*~ Ginny thought a tad bit bitterly.
Suddenly she sat straight up in her chair, was that…MUSIC? A slightly sad, but quick-paced beat filled the common-room. The lights dimmed and Ginny looked up to see a spotlight on the boy's dormitory staircase. And right in the limelight, the light glinting off his raven-black hair, stood Harry. He had his eyes on her, pain was in those eyes, along with love, lots of love. Harry opened his mouth… and started to sing.
I would say I'm sorry
It I thought that it would change your mind
But I know that this time
I have said too much
Been too unkind
I tried to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I try and
Laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry
I could break down at your feet
And beg forgiveness
Plead with you
But I know that
It's too late
And now there's nothing I can do
So I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I try to
laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'cause boys don't cry
I would tell you
That I loved you
If I thought that you would stay
But I know that it's no use
That you've already
Gone away
Misjudged your limits
Pushed you too far
Took you for granted
I thought that you needed me more
Now I would do most anything
To get you back by my side
But I just
Keep on laughing
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry
Boys don't cry
Ginny felt the tears falling down her cheeks as she jumped up to run to Harry's arms. It was confirmed. There was only one Harry, and there always will be.

Well? Yes I know it's a bit lame but that's what you get when you don't know which direction your going. It's just that when I was listening to this song, I thought how sweet it would be for someone to sing that as an apology, and that's my story. So tell me what you think about it. Love, hate. Flame it all you want.
I don't own Harry Potter or Robert Smith's song "Boys Don't Cry" : - ( wish I did though.
