This was meant to be in the ending scene of The Deceived One but I completely forgot XD So enjoy the alternate ending for Dimentio.

When flickers of light surrounded him and his image began to fade. He didn't want to leave her. Seeing the tears in her eyes, she didn't want to leave him either. But it has to be done for the universe to be balanced.

"D-Dimentio! W-wait p-please!" She shouted desperately as she held him close to her.

"It'll be fine, my dear." He explained politely, stroking her hair.

Then he lifted her head up and kisses her lips deeply once more. With a bow and that charming smile, which hid so much sorrow, he slowly faded away.

And everything went black.

… But… he couldn't feel the coldness of the Underwhere nor could he feel the orb around him. Suddenly there was light. The jester stared at it curiously and slowly he flew toward it.

"Dimentio."

He instantly stopped as he recognized that voice.

"… C-Count?"

When he said his name, Lord Blumiere and Lady Timpani appeared in front of him.

Gasping he stumbled back and quickly kneeled down.

"… Dimentio, we're so proud of you." Lady Timpani admitted with the sweetest of smiles.

He slowly gazed up at them. He was speechless for a moment then quickly spoke after clearing his throat, "Wh-why…?"

Lord Blumiere spoke this time, "… Well, even though you made that one huge mistake in the past. You made up for it by defeating the Shadow Queen."

"... Also…" Timpani began hesitantly, "… We were thinking that… you would like to come with us."

"C-Come… w-with you…?" Dimentio asked in deep surprise, "Wha-what about J-Jaydes?"

"Oh, do not worry, we talked to her about it and she said that you could."

The jester stared up at them with huge puppydog eyes, "… But… why are you doing this for me…?"

The two exchanged glances, "… Dimentio, you've had a rough life… And I don't want you to go back and rot in that orb! You deserve better from what you've done… and… you're… like a son to me."

He looked at the Count.

"Strangely enough I thought so too…"

Timpani elbowed her husband in his side and narrowed her eyes.

He chuckled and continued, "And… we also in need in some help…"

"H-help?"

"Yes, um… It's about Timpani." He looked a bit uncomfortable talking about it and with red cheeks as Timpani just rolled her eyes.

At first he was confused then he looked at her more closely and knew she was pregnant.

"… You seen while we were thinking about you… I thought that you'd be great brother for her…" She gazed at Blumiere with a small smirk.

"Well, my love, get on with it!" he urged, beating around the bush.

She shook her head, "Anyway, Dimentio. Would you like to be with us?"

"I would be honored." He replied breathless, smiling.

She embraced him tightly and he returned it with tears in his eyes, "… Thank you…"

"I believe we should get going." The Count started.

"Alright. Let's go home, Dimentio."

With that he joined them and began to walk to the light.

"… Do you know what you're going to name her yet?" The jester asked.

"I was thinking of Riley. It somehow sounds fitting."

"And troublesome…"

"Blumiere!"

"What? It's fact."

She sighed but smiled.

Dimentio never responded but was in deep thought of the child.

'Riley… Somehow I know she's going to be a chaotic and spazzy child.' He chuckled and his grin grew larger as they all entered the light and into an unknown land of beautiful skies and meadows and a house on a hill.
