If i awake and you are not beside me,
will you promise to stay close by?
If I call out to you in the darkness,
will you hear and answer my cry?
If i fall on the path we are taking,
will you help me back on my feet?
If i ask for a cup of cold water,
will you pour me one sparkling and sweet?
If i weep whenever i am hurting,
will you kiss the hurting away?
And when we enter the house of God,
