I was doodling, and I ended up doodling Hermione with ridiculously long hair, so this happened. I've written 3 dribbles around it, they don't really connect but oh well...
As Ginny watched Ron board the train for his first year of Hogwarts, she felt a sense of sadness knowing that she would be only sibling at home. However, this feeling was quickly forgotten as she saw, through the people crowding the station platform, a girl with the most beautiful hair. It was light brown and wavy and fell all the way past the girl's feet, trailing behind her on the platform. Ginny felt her own hair. It was already down to her waist, but in that moment she decided that she wanted hair as long as the girls.
Meanwhile, Hermione Granger tried to make her way to the train without dropping anything, and keeping her hair from ending up under someone's feet. As much as she loved her hair, it really wasn't practical in some situations such as crowded spaces...
Hermione worked her way along the train, but with people trying to move both ways along the narrow corridor, she soon realized how impractical her hair in that space, so as soon as she saw a section that wasn't full or mostly full of students much older than her, she made her way in. The carriage contained two boys, one with dark hair and glasses, who she soon learnt was called Harry, and Ron, the other, was ginger.
