Weasley get-together were not uncommon for the family. Gatherings were often held, and for a family that size it was important to keep in touch with one another. Percy had never really liked the get-togethers. It wasn't that he didn't like his family, he loved them really, but they were so eccentric, energetic, and too focused on entertaining themselves for Percy's liking. He liked things neat, organized, and not covered in dirt and sometimes blood.
"Come on Percy." Little Ron was pleading at his brother. His eyes were wide and there was a smudge of chocolate on his chin.
Percy frowned at the toddler and closed his book. He snatched a towel from the table and whipped the mess from his brother's face. "I'm trying to read Ron."
"Read later." The toddler said. "Come play. Bernie's here. Mum says we're gonna go play Quidditch. Not big Quidditch, mum says I'm not bigger enough yet."
Percy sighed. "It's big enough Ron. Not bigger enough."
"Oh." Ron said. "Okay. I not big enough. Bernie's not big enough too. So we play little Quidditch. You want to play? We need even teams."
Percy looked over at the series of games happening over the yard. He really didn't want to go play. It didn't look like fun to him. Percy was going to tell Ron this, but the pleading look in the little boy's eyes prevented him from doing so.
"Alright." Percy relented. "Just for a few minutes though."
Ron cheered, reaching out to take his brother's hand. Percy didn't protest as he was pulled into the mess of Weasleys, only listened to Ron ramble on about something Cousin Bernie told him.
