"I was walking to my car and I heard a noise, but I chose to ignore it. I reached inside my pocket for my keys and opened the car door, but it closed out of nowhere. I turned around to see Klaus Mikealson, a person she really didn't want to see, especially right now. I hasn't seen him in 2 years, since he got me pregnant with a child he didn't know about. And the worst part was that they looked exactly alike. She only had some of my features.
"Klaus?"
"Who else would it be?... Now, tell me why such a beautiful girl is out at night by herself?"
I wasn't scared of Klaus, but right now I was scared that he was going to hear Charlie's heartbeat, but luckily she was sleep.
"I was picking up some things for my daughter.
"Daughter?... and where is this daughter of yours?"
"Why?... So you can use her for her blood?"
"Oh, come on love don't be like that."
I knew that he wouldn't use his own child like that, but I didn't want him to know about her and I couldn't let him find out either, no matter how much I wanted to tell him
"I..."
Before I could even continue speaking we both heard crying in her car. I closed her eyes hoping that Charlie would stop crying but she didn't. I didn't even care anymore if Klaus saw her. Charlie wasn't gonna stop crying util she knew I was there with her.
"Mommy!"
I opened the car and took her out her car seat.
"Shh, it's okay, I'm right here, okay."
Klaus looked at me and then at Charlie. He then realized that the child I was holding looked a lot like him. She had the same color hair as him and and the same greenish-blue eyes. He wanted to ask her if she was his child but he was afraid of the answer
"How old is she?"
"2"
"Is she... is she my child?
Hope looked at him not knowing what to do or say. It's not like she could just run away.
"Hope tell me, is she or not?"
Klaus was afraid of the answer because he was the only person she had ever had sex with.
Tears slowly started to build up in her eyes, but she didn't want to wake the now sleeping child in her looked down but still answered his question.
"Yes"
