"So, you know the plan right?" Ari asked his companion who was fidgeting from the uncomfortable crouching position and the lack of action.
"Yes!" Janco said, holding it out longer than necessary. "We find the dungeon, get Yelena and Valek out of there, kick anyone's ass who gets in our way and get the hell out of here."
Ari gave an exasperated sigh and whacked Janco in the back of the head. "Can you be serious for once?" Ari asked, snarling.
"Well I'm sorry, but I just want to get out of here and go home." Janco whined like a little kid. "And get you off my back." He muttered under his breath, but Ari heard it that received Janco another smack on the head.
Janco rubbed the throbbing spot on his head and when they were about to make a move they saw a dark figure blur across the yard and disappear into the barracks.
The men exchanged confused looks and then went to investigate.
All they could see in the dim light of the full moon was a man well built with wavy dark hair that fell to his shoulders. Janco's eyes widened when he recognized who the man was. "Valek!"
The figure jumped and turned around to glare at them with icy blue eyes, confirming that it was Valek. "What are you doing here?" Ari questioned.
"Yeah, you're supposed to be locked in a prison cell with … " Janco scanned the rest of barrack quickly with his eye to find that there was no dark haired girl with him. He scowled at Valek and grabbed his collar and bringing him close to his face. "Where's Yelena you son of a bitch? Did you leave her behind or did you finally snap and kill her?" Janco accused.
"Now you wait – " But Valek had no time to finish his sentence before he was pushed away from Janco and felt the prickle of the point of a sword held by Ari.
"You basterd! You did leave her behind!" Ari said, jumping to conclusions too quickly.
"Will you both shut – " Again, Valek was stopped short when he felt a second point against his chest. He looked at the two peevishly and sighed, waiting for Yelena to hear all this shouting and come to see what was happening.
Like an answer to his silent prayers Yelena came in looking at the three men strangely. "Stop," Valek hated how it almost sounded like a question.
The two sword wielders turned around in surprise to her voice and blushed sheepishly. They looked at Valek apologetically and in return gave the two idiots a glare.

A/N: I hope everyone remembers this scene from Poison Study, 'cause I suck at explaining things. This scene when Yelena came in the barracks in Chapter 31 to the sound of shouts and curses just cracked me up. And I thought how it could have gotten to that point – so here it is. Review.
