"Happy birthday, Aelita!" Jeremy, Ulrich, Odd and Yumi all shouted together. "Happy what?" Aelita asked, curiously.
"Birthday." Jeremy replied. "We are celebrating the day you were born." "That's silly. Why would anyone do that?" "Because it's fun." Odd replied.
If it isn't the "birthday girl." Sissi sneered. "I'll bet you didn't even have one present." Herve and Nicholas laughed.
"It doesn't matter if she gets a present or not. What matters is that she's here at thirteen." Jeremy responded, defensively.
Meanwhile…
"Ulrich, hurry up! Aelita's going to be here soon!" Yumi shouted from a ladder while she put up a poster that read AELITA'S THIRTEEN TODAY in big pink letters.
Aelita studied for a math test with Jeremy and Odd. "Hey Einstein, what's the answer for question 4?" "52.9" Suddenly the door burst open.
"Well if it isn't little Aelita. Are you actually studying? Or are you just getting your test answers from Jeremy?" Her-Royal-Meanness smirked. "I'm studying for the big math test tomorrow. And you should be doing the same, Sissi." Aelita told Sissi. "Me? Study? Oh, you have got to be kidding me. I wouldn't study. I'm naturally gifted. And with a twirl, Princess Sissi left.
"More like naturally gifted at failing if you ask me." Jeremy muttered.
At Yumi's house…
"Cake's done!" Yumi said happily. "I'm finished placing the pink paper plates and white spoons and forks!" Ulrich called.
After School…
"Jeremy, why are we going to Yumi's house?" Aelita asked. "You'll see." Jeremy smiled.
Aelita arrives at Yumi's house…
"Surprise!" Everyone in the group shouted. Aelita was startled at what she saw in Yumi's house. Yumi and Ulrich had put up fake trees and made water beneath them like the forest sector on LYOKO! "What's happening?" Aelita asked.
"We thought that this might make you appreciate your birthday more." Yumi explained.
"Do you like it, Princess?" Jeremy asked.
"I love it!"
"Let's get started on the birthday games then!"
Aelita loved her birthday and was never hesitant to celebrate it again.
