"Troy?"
"Yes, Mrs. Bolton?"
"Hey, don't call me that!" Gabriella scowled, swatting him playfully.
"Well, it IS true. You ARE married to me."
Gabriella sighed. "I know. And we have three kids, Dylan, Kyla, and Tyler. Now, I need your help."
"What for?" Troy asked her absently, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl and sinking his teeth into it. He leaned against the counter and waited for his wife to respond.
Gabriella looked at him nervously. "Uhm…well…it's the kids…" she trailed off.
Troy jumped up in alarm. "What? What about them???" he asked her, his sky-blue eyes looking intently at her dark-brown ones.
Gabriella looked at the floor. "I know this might seem absurd to you, but I really gotta tell you!" she cried.
Troy stopped chewing and dropped his half-eaten apple on the floor. He grabbed her shoulders and spun her around so she stood nose to nose with him. He began bombarding her with questions.
"Did something happen? Did something happen to the kids? Did any of them fail a subject in school? Expelled?" he said, as he began to pace around the kitchen with a worried face. "Did Kyla get knocked up or something? Were YOU knocked out? Wait, are you trying to tell me that the kids are somebody else's, not mine?" he asked her sharply, his eyes wide when he said the last question he threw at her.
Gabriella shook her head and attempted to laugh so she could assure her husband that the situation wasn't as serious as he thought it was.
But it WAS serious.
Well, it wasn't a matter between life and death, but it was just as important…Maybe.
Gabriella took a deep breath. "Hon, you do know that the kids signed up for Drama class, right?"
Troy nodded. "Yeah. Is that the problem?"
Gabriella shook her head. "No, it's their teachers, Ryan and Sharpay Evans."
Hehehe. Just a little one-shot I came up with. Here's the whole story just in case you don't get it: Gabriella is stressing over their kids' drama teachers, the infamous Ryan and Sharpay Evans. She's scared that their kids might turn into little mini-Sharpay-and-Ryan clones and confides/talks to her husband, Troy Bolton.
Get the story? Good. Hang on to it, read it again, and review.
