Prologue
King Triton and his wife, Queen Athena, ruled a kingdom across the ocean. They had seven daughters. Athena was the oldest, Alana was the second oldest, Adella was the third oldest, Aquata was the fourth oldest, Arista was the fifth oldest, Andrina was the sixth oldest, and Ariel was the youngest. When the king and queen celebrated Ariel's first birthday, a witch came and cursed Ariel by turning her into a mermaid. She said that if Ariel did not find true love when she turned 17, she would be cursed forever. Then a fairy godmother came and said that Ariel would become a mermaid on every full moon and that when she has true love's first kiss, she will take true love's true form. The fairy godmother said that she will start to change when she became 13. When Ariel became 13, she started to change every night that was a full moon. She asked her parents what was happening to her and they explained everything. She understood and was determined to find her true love. A year later, she forgot about looking for her true love and started to like being half mermaid.
