Captaindrake123: I'm back! And I'm ready to kick ass with a re-write of one of my first stories!
To those of you who gave your support and patience with my father's surgery, thank you, I appreciate it. Its nice to know that there are some kind people in the world. I only do this writing thing for a hobby, but I'll try to repay that concern with good stories when I can.
Chapter 1: The Loner Who Couldn't Care Less.
People are stupid.
That is a fact, people are stupid beyond reason. From simple arguments to the atom bomb itself, humanity always considers itself intelligent, yet we hurt our own species for personal pleasure and destroy Earth's environments, saying 'Oh! Nothing's wrong! Yep! Just ignore the death and destruction around us, its not real!'
Yep, humans are stupid, I believe this fact with all my heart.
And I don't really have high hopes for it being different at Kadic Academy.
See, I'm actually from America. But when my parents noticed that I did not enjoy my time at my old school, along with all the false rumors and kids trying to pick on me (and failed), the bruise on my cheek from an attempt to gang up on me from a bunch of punk kids was the last straw for my parents.
I beat them by the way, and no, I'm not a delinquent, it was self defense. I've never started any of those fights, and when I tried to get a teacher there was either no one around or they were of no help whatsoever.
Anyways, my parents signed me up to study abroad after talking it out with me on what to do. I was concerned to be honest, I would be leaving home, leaving the country as a matter of fact, and wouldn't see them for a while.
People are stupid, but my family are not 'people'. I love them, they have always been there for me and I know it was out of love when they suggested I study at Kadic Academy. I had the grades for it, it would give me more opportunities for an education… but mainly they were worried about my safety.
So I accepted. I mean, I get to leave the country and go to France, that's pretty awesome. I guess all those French classes paid off.
So after some tearful goodbyes from my younger sisters, I promised that I would keep in contact as much as I could. My younger brother wasn't tearful about it, but he did say he would miss me...reluctantly, and my mother forced us to hug before I left for the airport.
Ten hours of flight and an hour of searching later, here I am, standing in front of the gate of Kadic Academy.
I narrowed my eyes in scrutiny, phone in hand, and waited where they told me to...
For half an hour.
"..." I sighed tiredly "Is no one going to show up and actually show me the way?" I grumbled.
Apparently the school can't be bothered to have someone to show their own damn student the way.
Yeah, off to a great start.
