Compromising Position
They say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions… and it is…every questionable deed justified by a usually unacknowledged compromise within the soul…the ends always justifying the means as the soul darkens slowly, silently…until the bearer is unable to separate the rapture-inducing from the eternally damning, losing themselves in the welling pit of darkness long before they ever realize they had reached the edge…
