Beck and Jade looked at each other and grinned.

"Beck you are someone like me in position and you are still dating Jade. You say the thing that pisses her off. It must be resolved SOMEHOW in the end. Jade starts. First letter is A and GO."

"ARE YOU SERIOUS"

"Babe calm down"

"Calm down. You so shouldn't have said that"

"Dude you scared the new girl half to death"

"Exactly how is that wrong"

"For one thing it's not nice"

"GOSH I didn't know not being nice was against the rules"

"Honey it's not but it's important to be nice"

"If that's true maybe I should say to you the same thing you just said to me"

"Just a sec. That doesn't make any sense"

"K, let me explain. What you said to me wasn't nice either"

"Look I think I was right"

"Maybe you think you were right but you weren't right."

"Now why would you say I'm not right"

"Okay let me explain this to you again. The new girl was being mean to me first so I had to get even"

"Oh a plot twist," Sikowitz said excitedly

"Perhaps you want to repeat that," Beck said

"Quite easily. The new girl was being mean to me first so I had to get even."

"Really. I didn't know that the new girl was being mean to you first"

"So why didn't you ask me?"

"That's a good question"

"Undoubtedly. Now answer it!"

"Very good question," Beck mumbled

"Will you quit stalling"

"X-ray vision must be what you have cause how can you tell I'm stalling"

"YOU will answer the question or I WILL-"

"Zoos full of elephants calm down and I'll answer the question!"

"Alright"

"Because I didn't see the new girl being mean to you so I thought you were just being mean to her"

"Course you didn't"

"Did you have to get so mad at me?"
"Especially after what you said how could I not get mad at you. You know that gets under my skin and you know why it gets under my skin"

"For your information I forgot about... that"

"Gee I'm glad to know just how much you love me"

"How do you equate love with not remembering the incident"
She was sillent allowing him to continue

"I'll tell you what. Just forget I said what I said. But you do have to do something"

"Just what are you thinking"

"Kiss me"

Jade broke into a grin

"Love to," she said as their lips met and the whole class broke into applause.
