They truly hated one another. Kyohei and Sunako really did. She wanted to be rid of him and all he wanted was to be rid of her.
She hated his huge ego.
He hated her self-pity.
She hated his pushy behavior and hot-temper.
He hated her anti-social, anti-anything behavior.
They would never in their life-times get along. She, a being of darkness, and he, a creature of light, were far too different. He had all the confidence in the world and all she had was the resolution to be alone. She had the happiness she needed (i.e. scary movies, bloody figurines) and all he had was fangirls.
They were too different. Of couse they couldn't stand each other.
She hated the way he always "knew" what to do. How he tricked her into cutting off her fringe. She hated the way he made her nose bleed. And the way he always told her she was "ugly". And at the same time always made her want to prove him wrong. She hated how he was able to get her into an arcade and able to make her laugh, even when she didn't want to. And how he always knew the right thing to say to make her feel better or to cheer her up.
Most of all how he made her feel sick. Made her stomach flop and made her heart beat so fast she thought she would die. How he always tried to protect her.
He hated her stubborness. How she always shut herself in her room. He hated the stupid plots she had to kill him. He hated the way she told him to leave her alone beacuase he was a supposed "Creature of Light". He hated how she always had nose bleeds around him. How the blood refused to come out of his favorite shirt. He hated needing to go around and make sure she wasn't sulking. And wanting to hunt down the guy who dared to ruin her self-esteem. Hated how he felt the need to see her and how one sad look from her made him ready to face his fangirls to make her smile again. He hated how everyone treated him for his looks and she was the only one to actually not like him for it. How she was the only one to get passed his how he looked and into who he was.
Most of all, he hated how she made him feel lighter. Made his feet lighter and his legs faster. Made the blood pump in his ears. All just beacuse he wanted to reach the place where she was. All just to reach her.
Of course she hated him!

"Hey, I found Kyohei and Sunako. They're in her room again watching those awful gore and guts movies again."
"Crap. Do you think we should separate them before they kill each other?"
"Nah, don't bother. They'll be fine."

Well, this was fun! I just got into this series, and I've been having a blast reading it! I am so addicted. I laugh so hard nd smile so widely whe I read the scansations! I read all the way to volume 11, chapter 45. Sunako is the funniest character and her chibbies are the cutest I've ever seen.
I got the idea for the scene at the end of my fic from the manga! I thought it was the cutest scene where the other three guys finds Kyohei sitting with Sunako watching one of her movies. I absolutely hearted that scene! Especially when the guys decided to leave them alone together.
