A/N: Soooooo, it took me forever to find time to write this. I hope it suffices :) Btw: This is in Cynthia's perspective.
I couldn't believe it. Even after months of being engaged, I still couldn't believe that Iniabi would choose me! I was so thrilled.
You would think that I would be so happy that I would be anticipating the wedding. However, I wasn't.
I was very nervous. Scared, in fact. Why? Because I was worried I would mess it up. Or that he would change his mind.
Mother kept reminding me that I would be fine. She even said that she tripped when going down the aisle and the wedding still happened.
The day of the wedding, I was frantic.
"Cynthia, calm down! I can't help you with your dress if you don't stop shaking.", Severa exclaimed. "Your not helping.", Nah sighed, walking over to the bride to be.
"You will be fine. If he told you that he loves you, he means it.", Nah stated, looking me in the eye. "Now, we need to get you in the dress! You only have a slip on currently…", she added.
I took a deep breath and nodded. "I can do this.", I said aloud. It made it more true when I said it aloud. "Yes, that's how it's done. You can do this girl!", Severa cheered, winking.
I smiled as I gazed at the wedding dress Mother and Father picked out for me. It was more of a eastern type dress. One you would wear if you were to be wed in Plegia. There was one diffrence. Plegians didn't wear white when they were wed. This dress was white, but had that Plegian style.
The dress had long sleeves that had cuffs at the wrists. It also had gold patterns on the cuffs. The top layer split in the middle (at the waist), leaving pure white where the top layer didn't cover.
The top layer had intricite gold designs and it was the tiniest bit off white. The dress trailed a foot behind the bride.
Cynthia took another deep breath and slipped on the dress. Severa and Nah helped her button and ty the dress.
Time skip brought to you by Henry's love of blood XD
Arm and arm with my father, Henry, I walked down the aisle. Father held my hand and squeezed it. "Your gonna do fine. It's your big day. Go have some fun!", he whispered. I nodded.
When I got to the alter, the preist began the speech. "We are here to witness the marriage of Cynthia and Iniabi. Before we begin, is there any protests. Speak now if you have any protests.", he started.
No-one stood up, so I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. "No-one? Alright. Iniabi please begin your vows."
"Cynthia. I love you from the bottom of my heart. There is nothing that can seperate us now. I vow to stay faithful as a husband and forever be at your side."
"Cynthia, please begin your vows."
"F-from the day I met you, I fell in love. It was like love at first sight. I vow to always stay by your side through thick and thin." My heart was racing.
Iniabi smiled at me and the preist finished his speech. "Iniabi, do you take Cynthia to be your lawfully wedded wife? To hold and to tresure? Through sickness and health? Through money or no money?"
My heart was thumping so fast it could thump through my chest right now. "I do." I smiled so wide I could burst my cheeks open.
"Cynthia, do you take Iniabi to be your lawfully wedded husband? To hold and to tresure? Through sickness and health? Through money or no money?"
I swore I could see Inabi tense up. "I do." "I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
When Iniabi leaned in to kiss me, it wasn't like the little short kisses. It lasted what seemed like forever, and I didn't want the moment to end.
