Chapter 1 Winter equals mischief.
Sherwood Forest, the former home to the legendary Robin Hood and his group of Merry Men an elite group of thieves who ironically don't steal for their own needs but for others. A place of true poverty and despair on most days. But not for tonight as this is the night is the first night of the winter season. And whenever the first night of winter arrives there is always mischief to be heard. Standing in the shadows in the darkest hour of the night is a boy with ice cold blue eyes with longish white hair that resembles the purest snow. The boy is wearing simple rags and looks to be around seventeen.
"I promise, I won't be long barely five minutes." The boy tells his companion. Who has to be the most unique Polar bear all the realms could know. The Polar bear just rolls his eyes before barking quietly.
"Frostbite, these people they're miserable what's the harm bringing them a little joy? Straight in and straight out they won't even notice me, I won't do anything big." The boy replies to Frostbite. Who still doesn't look impressed the bear just lets out a small huff.
"Oh come on Frostbite one blizzard I made, at nine and you're going to hold it against me, my entire life." The boy snapped. Frostbite responded with a few barks causing the boy to sigh and shake his head.
"Here take them, I'll be straight back in five minutes." The boy snipped dropping his ice skates onto the ground near Frostbite. And walking away from Frostbite, the boy clicking two of his fingers together causing all of the windows to the village houses to open most of the villagers were still awake.
"Come on everybody get out of those stuffy houses and have some fun." The boy yells. The villagers at first looked confused. Until the boy conjures a small snowball in one of his arms. He then throws it at the ground causing vast amounts of snow to cover the ground and then conjures more which he throws at village houses covering them with snow and frost. He then raises both hands summoning two blasts of magic which shoots into the sky only to bring forth steady snow. The villagers were hesitant at first making the boy sign.
"Anyone who wants to ice skate head over to the lake now." The boy shouts. This seemed to change the people's feelings they soon ran out of their homes following the boy down to the lake.
Over at the lake, the boy used his magic to freeze the lake. The villagers couldn't wait to get onto the ice. Only a fraction of the villagers could skate on the ice at one time so they took in turns. While one group was skating the others were having snowball fights.
"Thank you, child." A villager said.
"You guys looked like you needed some snow and ice to make things a little better out here." The boy replies.
"You're definitely right about that. It's just with Prince John's taxes going higher and the Sheriff and his men coming every day for money. The money we don't have there isn't really anything to be happy about right now." The villager tells the boy.
"I guess someone is going to have to speak to Johnny boy." The boy says before the villager could respond. A loud growl could be heard the boy just rolls his eyes before speaking.
"I have to go before Frostbite gets more impatient. Otherwise, he'll tell Alizeh and she will well she not really the kind of person you would want to annoy." The boy spoke before heading back to Frostbite.
Frostbite pleased that the boy returned when he requested but still wasn't impressed by what the boy has just done for the villagers.
"Like I promised, Frostbite." The boy commented as he picked up his skates. He goes to walk over to Frostbite's left side just about to jump onto Frostbite. However, Frostbite lets out a small growl not an aggressive one but a growl telling the boy not to.
"What now?" The boy asked clearly annoyed Frostbite barked.
"Fine, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped. I know you're looking out for me, Alizeh would kill both of us, if she knew you took me here. Please, can you forgive me." The boy apologised sometimes Frostbite was too stubborn for his own good. Frostbite let out a small much softer bark telling the boy he's forgiven. The boy let out a small smile before jumping onto Frostbite allowing the Polar bear to take him home.
