OOOO

Cmon come on

This is the story of a town gone wrong

And we're together cause we don't belong

And everyone we used to know is gone

-beat radio "sleepwalking"

Veronica was laughing so hard that she had to use Logan for support.

"Shh.." He insisted and the sound of a cracking egg once again filled the air.

The light came on from the other side of the window. Sheriff Lamb's face was blurry under the yolk. They ducked behind the bushes.

"He'll never know." Veronica choked out between giggles.

"I know." Logan kissed her swiftly, "Let's run."

She felt like such a rebel, running to Logan's SUV in the dark. She threw a quick look to Lamb's window, he was gone and the light was off.

The leather seats were burning up, another hot July night. They didn't even bother with the A/C. Just rolled down the window, and blasted indie music driving past the late-night scene kids outside of the 7/11.

"They grow up so fast." Veronica said looking at Logan, from under her lashes.

"Yeah, soon you are going to be away at college, and I'll be alone." He frowned.

"You could go, too."

"Maybe." He smirked.

They drove 60 m.p.h to the beach. Sand between their toes in a matter of minutes. Kissing under the bright moon, Veronica wanted to tell him how much she loved him, but he threw her in the water, and she had to retaliated before he thought he won.

AN: That was short, but the song "Sleepwalking" is soo good, I suggest it for anyone...go listen to it, and then reread this.

Review.
