Ohio Ape Colony

Location of the colony's ape village: Salt Fork State Park

Species of apes in the colony:Chimpanzees, bonobos, Sumatran and Borneo orangutans.

Game for the apes: white-tailed deer, wild turkey, cottontail rabbits, waterfowl, largemouth bass, walleye, channel catfish, smallmouth bass, white bass, crappie, sunfish, and flathead catfish.

Weapons of the ape colony:spears, bowas, and bows and arrows

Houses of apes: ape-made wooden hutts made broken wood and rope similar to the one's in the life Muir woods village. The hurt of the royal family is the largest.

Where the apes originated from: zoos all around Ohio and some used to belong to primate research institutes before being transfer to the zoo and some of them knew sign language from their time at the institutes.

Extra note: Their council and ape king will be the most intelligent. After the flu hit they started learning to read from looking over sign papers and books at abandoned libraries and even eventually learned to write the way Caesar's apes do. They probably found a book to help increase their sign language vocabulary.

Where they got they're horses from: Stables near the park.

How the ape colony came to be:Probably how the other known colonies came to be. A really smart chimpanzee and his friends and followers escape the ape slaughter and went around Ohio to rescue any surviving apes who were either captured for lab purposes or targeted by ape hunters. Then he led them all to salt fork state park where they all made their home and he was named ape king.
