Bill was a proud father. His daughter was currently in his lap, playing with her stuffed unicorn. Fleur was already in bed and asleep by now. As cute as their little Victoire was...she could scream like a banshee when she was hungry or her pacifier was not where it used to be. The last two days it was always Fleur who got up and took care of her. Now it was his turn to watch over little Vicky for the next three days.

She was already sleepy but she tried to hide it. She did not want to go to bed already! But her eyes could not stay open anymore and from time to time they stayed shut for longer until she snuggled into her father's chest. He chuckled quietly and picked her up properly. Vicky clung on him with her tiny hands, not wanting to let go of his shirt. Bill stroked over her back and walked upstairs. He kissed her cheek before he put her inside the bed and pulled the covers over her.

He could stay there and watch his daughter for the whole night. He was even worse than Fleur who was amused about his behaviour. She even teased him and told him that one day she would meet boys and have a boyfriend. It always made him angry and kind of jealous. Victoire was his little sunshine and he would protect her! But deep inside he knew that Fleur was right. She would grow up, go to school, go to Hogwarts and meet so many boys. And her veela traits would make things even worse. But as long as Bill Weasley was alive he would make sure that nobody dared to hurt his little princess.
