"Be one of us tonight" Blaise whispered as he leaned by the side of the chair that Hermione was sitting in, in the library.

"Please?" Draco whispered, coming to her other side, and shutting her book closed. Hermione looked up at him, quickly meeting his eyes.

"What will they say?" She whispered, afraid if she said it too loud, her fears would become true.

"I don't care what they say, 'Mione. All I care about is being able to be with you. And I can't do that in secret, Hermione. It's tearing us all apart, even I can see that." Draco pulled out the seat next to her and sat down, Blaise mirroring him on the other side.

"It's not-" Hermione didn't think-

"Yes it is Hermione! Please, Hermione. Please just don't be ashamed of us." Blaise pleaded.

"I'm not ashamed of you, Blaise," she whispered "Or you, Draco. I love you, you know that." Hermione was nearly in tears now.

"If you really loved us, you wouldn't want to hide us," Draco whispered, leaning towards her in his chair, grasping her hands in his. Hermione looked towards her boys. Not really boys, she mused, more like men. What was she afraid of? The reaction of her friends? The reaction of the school? She didn't know. She was just scared. But she read somewhere that sometimes you have to take risks in order for great things to arise. She looked at them both, her eyes starting at Draco's fair hair and complexion and pleading look, his calloused hands grasping hers, and strayed to Blaise's dark complexion, curly dark hair, and his boyish looks, and made her decision.

"Alright. Tonight?" She said, afraid of what came next. But what made it worth it was seeing the smile that lit up Blaise's face, and Draco's thumb moving along the back of her hand. Suddenly she was swept up into a kiss by Draco and then Blaise. And she knew that she had made the right decision.
