The cold water hit her straight in the face, but she barely even blinked. Her mind was a whirlwind so fast and furious that she could barely catch on to one fear before it was gone, replaced by another, then another, and yet another all just as quick as the first. She stood naked underneath the shower head, her eyes blinking more rapidly under the onslaught of water, but her body remaining just as still as a statue.
A hand slipped into the shower and set a more comfortable temperature before its owner stepped into the stall behind her. She took the bar of soap from Prue's numb fingers and began to wash her body, a luscious body whose every curve she knew by heart. Prue reacted instinctively to her gentle touches, her arms and legs doing automatically what was needed to provide her washer access to even her most intimate of areas.
Slowly, the gentle, reassuring washing began to lull her back to the present moment and her body to gradually relax. When at last her mind was freed, Prue's voice came out in a soft, almost hoarse whisper. "Piper?"
"Sh, Prue," came the reply accompanied by a gentle kiss on her wet shoulder. "It's going to be okay. So what if we're Witches? We'll learn; we'll cope. We'll take care of Phoebe and each other. It's what we do; it's what we've always done whenever life's handed us something unexpected." She turned her around and looked deep into her eyes. "And I'll never stop loving you."
She kissed her then, and as Prue melted underneath Piper's sensual caress, she knew her beloved sister was right. So what if they were Witches with terrifying powers? They loved each other, and that's all that really mattered. This was just the start of a new adventure, and she was always up for an adventure by her beloved Piper's side.
The End
