Back to Godrics Hollow
The sky was clear, Birds were singing happily to the sound of the chimes of the church clock. The statue of baby Harry with his parents beamed in the sun. a single muggle street cleaner has the impossible task of cleaning up the enormous amount of multi-coloured streamers and deflated balloons. Just beyond the statue, behind a tree Harry apperated with Ginny. Ginny looked around and her eyes attracted to the statue.
"Is that… you?" Ginny asked pointing to cheerful baby on the statue.
Harry nodded and gestured her to go over. As they approached Harry noticed a blown up copy of The Daily Prophet and a picture of himself which read Harry Potter to receive Order of Merlin first class. He grinned to himself and realised the residents from Godrics Hollow like the rest of the nation had been partying in his honour. When they stopped at the statue Ginny was looking back and forth from harry to the statue as if she was comparing.
"Aww, you looked so adorable, but that scar makes you look so much manlier" she said winking at Him. Harry chuckled to himself.
"Harry?" Ginny Asked turning to face him.
"Yeah"
"I was just wondering why have you brought me here"
Harry turned, smiled and said in such a soft voice it reminded him of Dumbledore "I thought it was time for you to meet my parents", he sensed Ginny seemed a little took back so Harry gently gripped Ginny's hand. They turned to face the grave yard Harry noticed Ginny shiver slightly but yet she walked onward not glancing back. Suddenly she stopped abruptly and Harry realised she had just noticed the tiny cottage with ivy running up the bricks and half the roof blown off. Harry understood what Ginny was feeling as he felt it less than 6 months before hand when looking for the sword of Gryffindor. He didn't want Ginny to in any way feel uncomfortable, so once again he gestured her in the right direction.
As they walked through the kissing gate of the grave yard, Harry instantly spotted his mother and father's grave, the reef that he had laid on Christmas day sat there dark and withered and the graveyard looked just as dreary as it did last time. As they walked closer Harry glanced at Ginny who seemed to be surprisingly calm giving the circumstances. Harry took out his wand out and conjured up two everlasting rose flowers, which Hermione had taught him just the other day. He passed one to Ginny and placed his on his Father's grave. Ginny placed the other rose on Harry's mothers grave and with a tear in her eye she said "I'll look after him, I promise".
