"Come on, just sit back down." Mr. Weasley said as Mrs. Weasley tried to stand up from the kitchen table.

"Just one more drink." She replied, realizing she had said it twice already.

His only reply was to smile, the same smile that made her giddy in a way she had only ever been when she was the little girl from so long ago.

It had been a hard couple of weeks.

Arthur had been very busy at work, more overloaded than usual, and Molly had been busy helping out in any way she could with the Order.

And when you add on trying to get all the kids ready for school on top of that, well, lets just say that this was the first time they had had any free time in a long time.

The kids were finally off to school, Arthur had the night off, and the Order was at Grimwald place tonight, so they were finally alone.

Arthur had asked Molly to sit down and have a couple of drinks with him, which was something they hadn't done in a long time.

When he finally convinced her to join him, she had grabbed a bottle of Fire whiskey and sat down in the kitchen with him.

The next hour had passed in a blur of smiles, the sting of Fire whiskey, and some trash talk about, well, everybody!

"A toast," Mrs. Weasley started, raising her newly filled glass.

"Here's to us." Mr. Weasley said, cutting off whatever she was planning on saying.

"Here's to love." She said, answering his challenge.

"To all the times that we fucked up!" He quipped.

"Here's to all that we've kissed."
"And to all that we've missed."
"To the biggest mistakes that we just wouldn't drink"

"Here's to you." Mrs. Weasley said, through gasps of laughter.
"Fill the glass, cause the last few nights have kicked my ass!" Mr. Weasley roared, unable to contain his happiness.

"Let's toast cause things got better!" Mrs. Weasley finished before they each took a large swig of their Fire whiskey, emptying their cups in one gulp.

They both laughed, knowing that they were drunk, but not caring because they were happy like they hadn't been in years.

They had escaped into the small piece of paradise they had created back in their school days, when they had no reason to be responsible, and the only thing they cared about was each other.

This had been the first night in a long time that they had had fun, and they were glad.

It was a small light in the dark tunnel they had been living in for as long as either of them could remember.
