She sits on the ground in front of the Memorial Stone hugging her knees and staring at her feet with a thoughtful look on her face. Another person comes up and sits beside her in silence, looking at the clear, blue sky.

"So, why are you here on such a bright day," he asks. She only shrugs her shoulders. "I guess you don't like to talk, right?" She nods her head; a sign of improvement. He gets up, walks over to the monument and brushes his middle and index finger across a name. The breeze picks up and his dark brown hair blows in the wind as her honey-blonde hair blows freely in the wind as well until she tucks one side behind her right ear.

"Did you lose someone important as well?" Comes the raspy, dry reply and he's taken aback by how bitter her voice was; evidence of pain and recent crying.

"Yes, I lost two very important people. It doesn't hurt as much as it did when I was younger, though." She looks at him in a mixture of confusion and shock at hearing this, and he keeps his back to her staring at the stone.

"Why?" Comes the simple question that held several unspoken words in it. He looks at her with a numb sort of expression on his face. She meets his eyes and they make official eye contact for the first time. He sees the confusion and loss in her deep, dark blue eyes. She sees the utter calm and understanding in his chocolate brown eyes. Silence lingers in the air for a few moments, neither of the two breaking eye contact.

"I guess I realized that crying over someone won't bring them back. We can only hold the memories of our loved ones that left us. I guess, in that sense, they never really died." A long silence befalls them once more.

"What's your name," she asks.

"Umino Iruka." With this he left her to her thoughts while she continued to sit there thinking over what he had said. For the first time in months, a full smile appears on her face.

Author's Note: I only gave the story "No Title" because I can't find a good title for this story. I'm holding a vote to see what the title will be. I'm opened to any suggestions that anyone can think of. The person with the best name will be given a short one-shot on any Naruto Character they want; or paring for that matter. Thanks again and PLEASE REVIEW this story needs a good title, because I worked extremely hard on it, Also, when you don't review, it makes me think I'm a horrible writer that doesn't belong on the site!!
