"Good morning, Sheldon. I trust you slept well?" Amy texted Sheldon after their night of D&D not even twelve hours before. Setting down her phone, Amy began to get ready for work.
"Good morning to you too, Amy… I did sleep well, and yourself? I know I do not say it very often, but I miss you." Sheldon replied to Amy's text the moment he woke up and saw his phone blinking. He was used to sending Amy good morning texts, but when she sent them first it let him know she was thinking of him, and that way, he started his morning off smiling.
"I miss you too, Sheldon, and yes, I slept well." Amy typed while grinning from ear to ear. It wasn't common for Sheldon to say he missed her, and she was over the moon just thinking about it. So much so that for a moment she just sat and began to think, she didn't have to be in for work in a while anyway.
"Seeing as how we both miss each other, I wouldn't mind if we sent good morning pictures to each other… at least for today." Sheldon suggested before getting up and out of bed. Leonard was up in the kitchen, he could hear it, but he decided to head for the shower instead while he waited for Amy's reply.
"Of course." Amy texted back with an attached picture of her. Her hair was messy and in snarles, but the smile on her face was huge. She sent it to Sheldon without a single doubt that he wouldn't like it.
Getting out of the shower minutes later, Sheldon checked his phone excitedly and smiled when he saw the picture of Amy pop up. He had made his way out into the kitchen before taking his own picture, Leonard watching him the whole time.
"And why are you taking pictures of yourself with wet hair, Sheldon?" Leonard asked while making his breakfast, and his roommate just shrugged before smiling sending the message.
"Amy and I send each other "good morning selfies" now; at least that's what they call them all over Instagram.
Leonard just looked to Sheldon with a thought on the tip of his tongue but decided not to get into his roommate's craziness that the group referred to as 'love'.

"The "good morning selfies" have been going on for like a week." Leonard explained to Penny early one morning before he was supposed to go over and bring Sheldon to work. Beside him, Penny groaned in bed and got up before walking over to the door.
"Where are you going?" He asked curiously.
"I've got to see this for myself." Penny said and with the determination of the ultimate shipper, she walked across the hall as if it wasn't almost six in the morning.

That morning, Sheldon came out of the shower like usual, but this time, he ran into Penny in the kitchen instead of Leonard.
"Hello, Penny." He greeted cheerfully before pulling out his phone and smiling sweetly for the camera. He could feel Penny watching him while he did this and lowered the phone after the picture had been taken. "What?"
"You really do send Amy "Good morning selfies", don't you?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. She was trying not to smile like an idiot at her friends' cuteness with each other, that would just be creepy.
"Yes, we have been for quite a while." He responded simply before beginning to make his breakfast.
"And how's that been working out for you?" Penny asked nonchalantly as she began making coffee, forgetting she wasn't planning on staying up.
"Honestly, it's been quite the mood improver. Ever since Amy and I started sending pictures to each other in the morning, she is the only thing I can think of when I wake up, during work, and in the evenings before bed." After pausing, Sheldon added one more thing. "It makes me happy."
This time Penny couldn't hold in her smile, and, with her back to him, she whispered "I bet it does."
