Harry woke up with blackness all around him.

"Hello?" he called.

"Harry at last," said a cold voice.

"Who's there?" gasped Harry.

"I," said the cold voice. Two blood-red eyes appeared in the darkness and started right down on Harry. "I'm going to kill you."

"Not my son!" said a desperate voice.

Harry turned round to see a spirit-like stag charge at the eyes.

"You've no powers," cackled the voice.

Suddenly, men in skeleton masks and black hooded cloaks advanced to Harry. He cowered but then a vicious looking wolf stepped in his path.

"Not my godson!" he snarled.

"Godson?" said Harry confused.

The stage charged at the red eyes and a horrible scream was heard for the cold voice. The wolf scrammed each and every one of the men who strangely disappeared into smoke.

The stag came up to Harry.

"Hello, son," said the stag.

"Dad?" said Harry.

The deer smiled warmly.

"Dad!" said Harry hugging the deer's chest.

"How you've grown," he said.

"You didn't die!"

"I live within you, Harry," he said.

"But how are you a deer?"

"It's my animagus form," said his father. "When you can take the shape of an animal."

"But why did you leave me?" asked Harry. "I hate the life I'm in."

"Your mother and I love you all the world, Harry," said his father. "But our lives were taken by that evil person Voldemort. He couldn't get our souls though."

"But Aunt Petunia told me you and Mum died in a car crash."
"She never tells the truth, my son," said the deer. "Your mother was brave to put up with a sister as horrible as she was."

"Where is the wolf?" asked Harry. "I want to thank him for helping me."

"Sirius," said the stag. "Your godson. He had to move on but I will give him your thanks."

"But, Dad," said Harry. "Can I come with you?"

"I want you to," the stag said, "but you must stay. You will have a better life when you turn eleven. I promise. I love you, son."

"I love you too, Dad," said Harry hugging is neck.

Harry suddenly awoke in his bed under the stairs. What did he just dream? He didn't know what it was, but he hoped that he would remember it forever.
