Catch Me When I Fall

Sam screamed as he felt his shoulder being wrenched from its socket. The fury of red-hot pain washed through him in a relentless tide. He felt his grip on the bridge railing loosening, his hand numbing as the muscles and ligaments of his abused joint separated, frayed, tore. The hunter desperately wanted to cry for help but had no breath upon which to do so.
His grip grew more lax and gravity greedily urged his tall frame plummet. Grief filled him, and he closed his eyes. I'm sorry, Dean. So sorry.
Warm, welcome fingers suddenly wrapped tightly around his wrists.
