Pevensies at Hogwarts

It's Lucy's first year at Hogwarts and she is so excited and nervous, Edmund is trying to figure out the feelings he has for his best friend and Peter and Susan have fallen for the same boy who just so happens to be Caspian Telmarine and is head boy

Lucy gave her Mother a hug and a kiss and followed her brother onto the train. She waved out the window to her mum until she was no longer in view and then she followed Edmund and his friend Evelyn into an empty compartment. Peter and Susan had gone to the prefects cabin along with Caspian as they where prefects (Caspian was Head boy) so she was stuck with Edmund.

The train journey felt like it went on forever but finally they stopped at Hogwarts and they all got off the train. "First years this way." Said an extremely large man and Lucy followed.

Lucy's Point of view

I followed this man who called himself Hagrid as we headed towards a lake. "Four to a boat" he said and I sat in a boat with a girl called Edelweiss, whose family was Austrian, a boy Charlie who had dirty blonde hair and another girl called Freya who had beautiful Curly ginger hair.

We finally arrived at Hogwarts and we walked towards the main door. Hagrid knocked on the door three times and they opened and we all walked in. a women explained to us the houses and I talked to Charlie as we walked into the great hall. I looked up and saw the ceiling that Susan was always going on about and by god it was beautiful. We all walked up to the front of the hall to where a dusty old hat sat on a stool. Professor McGonagall took out a scroll and started to read out names.

"McDonnell, Charlie" she said and Charlie walked nervously up to the stool. He sat there for a minuet or so until the hat shouted "Ravenclaw" and he smiled and walked towards the blue and silver table where my sister was sitting.

"Newcastle, Freya" and the ginger girl walked up nervously to the stool. After about three minuets the hat yelled "Gryffindor" and I saw Caspian and Peter Cheering as the ginger girl walked over to the red and gold table.

"Obermoser, Edelweiss" and the Austrian girl stumbled towards the hat and sat on the stool and in about three seconds the hat yelled "Hufflepuff" and I smiled as the girl walked towards the cheering yellow and black table.

"Pevensie, Lucy" the woman said and I walked towards the hat nervously and I saw Peter smiling at me. I put on the hat and it covered my eyes. "So, Another pevensie" the hat said and she was surprised and thought, "You can talk"

"Yes" the hat said "hmm… Your brave like your brother peter but your also smart like your sister Susan but your not ambitious like your Brother Edmund but your very loyal and hard working I know exactly where to put you. It will have to be… HUFFLEPUFF!" and the yellow and black table erupted in cheers and I saw Edelweiss standing up and cheering.

I walked over to the table and sat next to Edelweiss who introduced me to a boy called Tumnus who was a second year and he explained everything about Hufflepuff.

We head with the prefects to the Hufflepuff common room.

When we get there I go straight to bed looking forward to the year ahead.
