Family Comes in Many Forms

Bobby Singer stared down at the wrench in his hand, turning it this way and that, shifting it from his right hand to his left and back again. With a sigh, he adjusted the stained, well-worn ball cap on his head, ducked back under the hood of the 1970 Pontiac GTO on which he was currently working.
He jerked when the cell phone in his pocket started ringing. Quickly dropping the wrench, he pulled out the phone.
"Dean?"
"Yeah. Bobby, Sam's gonna be okay. H-He finally woke up a few minutes ago."
Bobby closed his eyes in relief. "Thank God."
