Summer

He fell onto the bench, panting, raising a hand to wipe at the sweat running down his whiskered cheeks; it was hotter than hell this summer at the beach, so much that even the ocean water couldn't provide a decent cool-down for its patrons. He'd had just about enough sunning for one day; it was time to head home and grab a cool shower, in his opinion.
A giggle caught his attention, his blue eyes lifting up to lock with familiar jade. She stood there, pink locks tied high off of her neck in a vain attempt to keep cool, her lips tilted upward in an amused, fond smile. In her hand was a double-stick orange Popsicle.
She grinned at him from under her straw sunhat, taking the Popsicle sticks in both hands; breaking them apart, she kindly offered one.
He stared at her a moment, awed by her kindness, before accepting her gift with a returned grin.
Hehe, aww, NaruSaku fluff. ^^
The majority of you likely understand the importance of sharing a Popsicle in this anime. Hehe :3
