Lola & Cricket: The Continued Version.
When Cricket pulled away from Lola, he took her hand and led her the rest of the way towards her school. Her normal hair now all messed up from long slender fingers being inside of it and moving it around. Her dress still as big as ever and wishing that she didn't have such a big dress on. Next time Lola was deffinately wearing a smaller dress.
They finally made it to the dance hands still in contact. Cricket held the doors open for her to fit her dress through. Getting someone else to help him of course too. Lola of course looked radiant like she always did to Cricket. Everyone stopped and stared at Lola and her big dress. Either that or it was the shock of seeing her their with Cricket.
"It's propably the dress. Don't worry about them." They met Lindsy and Charlie at the punch bowl.
"Hey you made it!" Lindsy yelled over the loud music. No matter what they did to the Gym it was still a gym.
"Yeah, anything good happened yet?" Lola yelled back.
"Some girl walked in with Cricket Bell on her arm in a big dress." Lindsy yelled back.
"Oh Really who?" She yelled smiling still not letting go of Crickets hand.
"Oh you know some goth wanna be." And they couldn't help they cracked up laughing even Charlie.
"You look great Lola." Charlie complimented.
"Thanks," She told him. Lola smiled up at Cricket and he smiled back at her. Lindsy pulled at Lola towards the bathroom.
"We will be right back." With the last words from Lindsy they left the two boys alone to hang or whatever it was that boys did.
"OH MY GOD! Cricket Bell," Lindsy yelled excitedely. She jumped up and down.
"I know." Lola gushed back.
"I can't belive that Calliope would just give you permison and all." Lindsy questioned.
"I saved her butt, with my sewing skills and your right she's not that bad. But don't expect her and I to be best friends anytime soon."
"Of course not." She laughed. "L ets ge back before the boys do something stupid. Only God knows what they'll do."
"Chug, chug, chug." The girls could hear as they walked back into the caffiteria
"What in the world?" Lindsy muttered as they made their way towards the punch bowl. Charlie was chugging down a cup full of punch. Lindsy rolled her eyes and grabbed her best friends hand went to dance the night way.
"May I cut in?" Lola smiled at Cricket.
"But of course," Lindsy left to go find Charlie. Cricket grabbed her hand and her waist
"I don't think I told you how beautiful you looked tonight." Lola smiled at him.
"I think so, but it's nice to hear you say it non the less." Cricket smiled at her and she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Thank you!" she whispered.
"What for?" Cricket asked leaning his head on hers.
"For being you Cricket Bell." Cricket picked his head up and pushed her back gently so he could see her face.
"Your very much welcome. It is what I do best." They smiled at eachother for awhile until he leaned in and kissed her. When he pulled away. "So how's your day been."
"Amazing."
