Minerva stared at the boy. Liam Campbell had come to her office, asking to speak with her about a very important matter. This matter turned out to be something that truly puzzled her.

"You want me to come and visit your grandfather in St. Mungo's?" Minerva asked. Liam nodded enthusiastically.

"He's really sick, Professor, and he's all I've got." Minerva felt her heart constrict at the boy's last statement.

"But," she said. "I am not a healer. I cannot do anything for him." Liam wouldn't give up.

"It's important, Professor. He, uh...knew your mum." Minerva stared into Liam's large, round eyes.

"That's highly unlikely, my mother wasn't anyone of great importance-"

"She didn't sing you lullabies. She thought they were silly, so she read you books. Hogwarts textbooks and-" Minerva put a hand up to stop him. She was too shocked to hear anymore. Gears were turning in her mind, but something was jammed between the teeth of one. She should know what that means, but she couldn't figure it out.

"Alright." she said finally, still puzzled. "I will go with you." Liam could barely contain his joy. "Will Saturday be alright?" Liam nodded.

Liam walked beside his professor, giddy with hope. Maybe she'll be able to help! He thought. Grandpapa said she would.

"Is this the room, Mr. Campbell?" He heard her ask. Liam nodded and opened the door.

"He has a heart problem, so the Healers have him connected to a machine. I think it's a muggle heart rate monitor." Minerva barley heard him, because she was staring at the man in the bed. A man that she had seen before.

"My Granpapa." Liam said, walking over to the bed and turning back to face Minerva.

"Da," she said faintly, feeling nauseous and dizzy and dehydrated.

"Oh, there you are, Liam, I've been looking all over for you! I-" Minerva turned to see a tall blonde woman.

"Aunt Elizabeth..." Minerva turned her head towards the bed and then back to her Aunt. And at last she looked at Liam. He saw the realization in her eyes.

"Hello, Mum." And Minerva fled.
