Hello! I got inspired a few nights ago and handwrote this, and the my lil' sis read it and liked it so….tada! I'll update for Bakery Love and Just Friends, Right soon!
This is an ItaSaku! It may seem like its KisaSaku but it is not!! There is also NaruIno, KibaHina and NejiTen mentioned.
Disclaimer—I don't own Naruto….
It was a simple task--capture Haruno Sakura. Or at least, that's what Kisame thought. Capturing her wasn't the problem, they, Itachi and himself, were missing Nin in the Akatsuki. They were tough.
No, the problem came on the second night when she woke.
The girl wouldn't shut up.
She hooted and hollered and when Kisame tried placing a firm hand over her mouth, it resulted in his palm bleeding.
Haruno Sakura was pretty enough. Kisame was surprised though; she was able to slip past them before without either of them noticing, because of the pink hair. And then there were her eyes. They were the purest jade around. Kisame, however, hadn't seen eyes other than the other members because Leader-Sama hadn't wanted him and Itachi out on mission for reasons unknown to him.
At this exact moment, the girl was sleeping. Itachi was out spotting for others and Kisame was sitting in front of the fire. The blazing flames warming the numbed cold skin.
The girl sighed deeply and sat up. Great, just great. Kisame prepared himself for crap bound to come his way.
"Sharky," Sakura mumbled. "Can you untie me? I've got to whiz."
"Sorry Pinky, I can't just untie you. You know that." Kisame looked down at the chakra draining cloth tied tightly around Sakura's ankle to where it was stuck into the ground by a kunai.
Pinky was so out of chakra that she couldn't support herself. Itachi had silently given Kisame the job of hauling her everywhere.
"Sharky, honestly, I've got to whiz!" Sakura yelled. Then she whispered, "Please? I'm just going to do my business."
"No. I like where I'm sitting and I ain't getting up to help you."
"You freakin' loser!" Sakura's eyes narrowed at Kisame. "I hate you."
Kisame only laughed and rolled her eyes.
Sakura lay back down and rolled over, twisting the cloth around her foot.
"Ow! Shoot!" Sakura cursed under her breath for a moment as the cloth tightened into her ankle.
"Pinky, the more force you put around your ankle, the better chance you have at snapping it. Why don't you just face the way you were facing before?" Kisame raised his eyebrows.
"Why in heck would I want to a face a fish out of water like you?" Sakura mumbled, but eventually gave up and turned back and faced Kisame.
"Kisame come here." A low, calm voice came from the trees to Kisame's left.
Kisame stood, pulling his sword onto his back, and walked over to the voice. Sakura perked up to hear the quiet conversation.
"Kisame, I've spotted a team of seven, looking like they were from Konoha." Itachi murmured.
Kisame nodded.
"One of them is the Kyuubi, and two of them are Hyuuga's. We only need the Kyuubi, meaning we need to eliminate--"
"No!" Sakura screeched. "No! You will not 'eliminate' my friends! You stay away from them! You, you, you worthless, evil, mindless butt wipes!"
Itachi looked at Kisame wordlessly at Sakura's outburst.
Now hearing sobs from Sakura both men stood silently.
"No! You will not tear apart Hinata from Kiba, and Naruto from Ino. You will not cost Tenten her husband! Do not tear what they have apart!" A large breath. "I don't know who all is left there but you will not hurt them! You kill Neji and you'll be leaving his child fatherless! Not that you, Uchiha Itachi care! You killed your entire family and just left Sasuke family less. You! You! Argh!"
"Are you done ranting, Haruno?" Itachi asked as he walked from the trees.
Sakura's eyes darted around, no Kisame. "Where's Sharky?"
"Behind you Pinky." Kisame said. He was in awe. The eldest Uchiha had warmed up; not visible to an outsider, but to Kisame's eyes, Haruno Sakura was important to Itachi. He was letting her friends leave without a second thought. It sure meant something. Not that Kisame would ever dare to say that aloud.
"If you stay here, all night, then yes I'm done ranting," Sakura paused. "About you killing me friends. There are other matters that have a need to be ranted about."
"Kisame inwardly groaned as Sakura got a large smirk on her face.
"I, Haruno Sakura, still have no gotten to whiz. I really have to go."
Itachi looked over at Kisame, sharingan blazing. Seeing the order in Itachi's eyes, Kisame quickly pulled the kunai out of the ground and put Sakura over his shoulder, headed in the opposite direction of her friends.
End of first chapter! Whoo!
