Blood...
Her blood...
It was spilling all over the floor...
It was all so fast...
She had never...
She had never meant for it to happen...
'What...what did I just do...? Oh my god...'
Sophitia blinked a few times, hoping what she was seeing wasn't real. Taki...her beloved Taki...was dying right before her eyes. The ninja woman clutching at her stomach, trying to keep her organs from pouring out. Instead, blood rushing out of the wound like a waterfall. Her skin was beginning to turn pale, and her body was losing balance.
"TAKI!! NO!"
Sophitia tossed her weapons to the side and ran over to help Taki. Tears were pouring down her eyes; she couldn't do anything but run to her. Yet, she never seemed to get any closer to her. Sophitia's whole world was spinning out of control. She couldn't reach Taki in time.
Leaning over, Sophitia puked; unable to control her senses any longer.
Looking up, Sophitia could see that Taki had given up on holding in her insides. As she watched the guts spew onto the floor, Sophitia screamed and fell to her knees in the puddle of blood.
Finally...Taki collapsed. Dead.
"TAKI! NO! TAKI! TAKI! PLEASE! DON'T DIE! DON'T LEAVE ME! I LOVE YOU! TAKI! TAKI! AHHH!!"
Sophitia clutched her head as if in pain and continued to scream. Behind her, her sword laid...the very weapon that was responsible for Taki's death.
In a fit of insanity, the two lovers had tried to kill each other in a fight over Soul Edge...and now both of them were lost. One had lost their life, and the other had lost their mind.
Sophitia panted like a beast after she had exhausted herself from screaming; her sanity was completely lost. Looking around, Sophitia noticed one of Taki's blood-stained ninja blades lying idly on the floor. Smiling, the blond Athen woman crawled over to the weapon and picked it up.
Slowly, Sophitia lifted it up and dangled it over her head. Then, letting loose a powerful laugh, she thrusted it directly into her skull. Blood spurted out and poured down the sides of her face as she dug it even further in, eventually piercing her brain.
Once she had done that, Sophitia allowed the darkness to take over her vision...and she could be with her beloved forever.

A/N: If you want to know why Sophitia stuck the knife in her head instead of just slitting her throat or something...it was because it's a lot more dramatic and unexpected. amiright?
